Heat Reportedly Trying to Trade for Bradley Beal is Beyond Mental
By Parker White

The Miami Heat are making moves and looking for someone to pair with the recently-acquired Jimmy Butler, who they got in a sign-and-trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Heat are engaged in trade talks with the Washington Wizards, who would certainly love to get All-Star guard Bradley Beal.
Per source in contact with one of the teams, Heat has engaged Washington in trade talk. Miami loves Beal, who has said Wizards told him he won't be traded. Taking on Wall (in order to get Beal) & Beal would be highly challenging with cap situation, even if Washington was willing.

Of course, there's a problem with the Heat looking to acquire Beal. Washington has already come out and said they aren't trading Beal, and even if they wanted to, Miami doesn't have any intriguing assets to get this done.
And we doubt Miami would want to take on John Wall's insane contract.
Bradley Beal isn't going anywhere.

Oh, and even though it's been reported that Butler is heading to Miami, it's not official yet because they are still finding a way to make it work with their lack of cap space flexibility.
I don't doubt that the Heat are trying and want to acquire Beal, but you need cap space and trade assets to get the other team on board, which Miami doesn't have.
Washington would rather build around one of the best guards in the NBA, not sell him off for nothing.
