The Antonio Brown helmet controversy can never truly be killed!
After threatening retirement over not being allowed to wear his beloved Schutt Air Advantage helmet due to safety concerns, Brown decided on the Xenith Shadow as his helmet for the 2019 season. However, in the wake of sexual assault and rape allegations made against Brown by a former personal trainer, Xenith has decided to end its association with AB.
The helmet manufacturer, Xenith, has decided to end its relationship with Patriots’ WR Antonio Brown.

“We look forward to seeing the Xenith Shadow worn by football athletes at all levels of play this fall,” the company said today.
Brown was also spotted during his first practice with the New England Patriots wearing a Schutt Air XP, a newer version of Brown's old helmet that meets safety protocols.
When you're signed to one particular brand, especially when you're the face of that brand, ditching them for a competitor is a big no-no.
On today's episode of As The Antonio Turns, Brown already has ditched the Xenith Shadow helmet that he selected amid great fanfare a week ago https://t.co/eLI0YWtsdk

Then again, maybe Xenith got fed up with every new thing AB does setting off a firestorm and opted to wash their hands of the controversial superstar. Who could blame them if that was the case?
