Hines Ward Interning With Jets Makes Steelers Organization Look Even More Unstable
By Sean Facey

It's that time of year where former players head out to training camps to help the young athletes on their former teams prepare for the upcoming season.
Well...except Hines Ward.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar decided he'd spend his time helping out the New York Jets as part of their coaching internship program this year, a move that makes the Steelers organization look less than stable.
D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Calvin Pace and Hines Ward are among those joining our football staff for #JetsCamp.

It's a slap in the face, really. Ward spent all of his 14-year career with the Steelers. He was selected to four Pro Bowls and won two Super Bowls with the team. For him to choose the Jets over the Steelers is concerning.
The Jets aren't exactly a model team. Though they have talent heading into 2019, they've had to deal with plenty of internal issues, including a change at head coach and a rather shady ousting of general manager Mike Maccagnan.
It's extremely telling that his time was better served with the Jets than the team he spent 14 years with amassing over 12,000 receiving yards.
Longtime Steelers WR Hines Ward will serve as a Bill Walsh coaching intern with the Jets during training camp. Good example for the young wideouts on the roster.

Even with divas Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell out of the picture, it still seems as though the Steelers have some issues to work through before they can be respected again.
