The Houston Astros, who have the best record in all of baseball and will have home-field advantage throughout the entirety of the postseason, will wait until Friday, Oct. 4 to play Game 1 of the ALDS against the winner of the Wild Card Game between the Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Rays.
Game 2 of the series will also be in Houston on Saturday, Oct. 5. After a day off Sunday, Houston will go on the road for Games 3 and 4 (if necessary), which will take place on Monday and Tuesday.
If this series needs a Game 5, the Astros will host it at Minute Maid Park on Thursday, Oct. 10.
