The Houston Astros, who have the best record in all of baseball and will have home-field advantage throughout the entirety of the postseason, will wait until Friday, Oct. 4 to play Game 1 of the ALDS against the winner of the Wild Card Game between the Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Rays.

Game 2 of the series will also be in Houston on Saturday, Oct. 5. After a day off Sunday, Houston will go on the road for Games 3 and 4 (if necessary), which will take place on Monday and Tuesday.

If this series needs a Game 5, the Astros will host it at Minute Maid Park on Thursday, Oct. 10.

If Houston advances to the ALCS, the first game of that series will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 at their place. If necessary, a Game 7 would be held a Minute Maid Park on Sunday, Oct. 20.

The World Series begins on Tuesday, Oct. 22, which, no matter the opponent, would be a home game for the Astros.
