For all those Dogs who had high hopes for getting a game-breaking pass rusher added to the roster, one Philly radio loudmouth has some cold water to dump on your Mummers Parade.

Though there are rumors aplenty circulating regarding Clowney's potential next destinations, and Philadelphia seems to be an ideal landing spot, Howard Eskin thinks the city needs to pull back on the reins a bit.

More than a "bit," actually. Per Eskin, there's NO chance it goes down.

It seems that even the radio station on which Eskin made his comments is conflicted about their veracity; the network's Twitter account seems to believe a move could be imminent.

Howie Roseman adding a clearly exasperated Clowney would seem to be a classic move for his recent regime, and there's no getting around the fact that the team's Super Bowl defense is now missing Michael Bennett and Chris Long, while Fletcher Cox and Derek Barnett are somewhat compromised. We would lean away from Eskin's assertion.
