Former Browns Head Coach Hue Jackson Has a Book Coming Out in January and We Need to Know What it's About
By Andrew Gullotta
Former Raiders and Browns head coach Hue Jackson's career in the big chair has been a bumpy road, to say the least. He was fired after one season in Oakland, though he put up a not-terrible 8-8 record. Then, he went on to Cleveland and won all of three games in 2.5 seasons.
Now, Jackson has told ESPN Radio in Cleveland that he has a book coming out next year. Suffice to say that we are all salivating in anticipation of what it could possibly be about.
The coach has faced some "unique" situations in his career, including an apocalyptic 0-16 season in 2017, so this book has an overwhelming amount of potential. For a bit of levity, he could talk about his 7-4 start with the Raiders before losing three of the team's last four games and getting fired.
His tenure with the Browns, of course, has to be the main event. He somehow wasn't fired immediately after going a combined 1-31 in his first two seasons; we would love to take a trip into that locker room to see what it's like to endure that kind of putrid stretch.
We are just captivated by all of the possibilities of this book. If Jackson is ready to open up about his coaching career, this book will be a must-read come January, though perhaps for not the most virtuous of reasons.
