VIDEO: Tottenham Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris Carried Off With Ugly Arm Injury After Howler vs Brighton

It would appear that Mauricio Pochettino has plenty more to worry about other than Tottenham Hotspur's abysmal run of form. Fresh off a humiliating 7-2 defeat in the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich, Tottenham had an excellent chance to right the ship in Premier League action Saturday against Brighton. Well, things got off to an awful start from two different perspectives as goalkeeper Hugo Lloris botched a cross on the goal line in the third minute leading to a tap-in opener for the Seagulls. To add insult to injury -- literally -- the Spurs captain fell awkwardly on his arm while bracing his fall and went down in a heap. Warning: it's not pretty.

Lloris was subsequently carried off the pitch in palpable agony.

You never want to see anything like this. The commentators also foolishly jumped the gun by claiming that the Frenchman was rolling around in the goal in hopes that the ref would call a foul... even though no player came close to making contact with him.

For those who can handle gory sports injuries, we've come across a closer shot of the injury from a camera inside the goal. HOWEVER, if you are sensitive to limbs not bending the way they should, *this video isn't for you.*

Yikes.

We don't need to wait for the MRI results to tell you that Lloris faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and it couldn't come at a worse time for Tottenham, as they ended up dropping points to an inferior Brighton side 3-0 in a major upset.
