Ichiro Will Throw Out First Pitch at Mariners' 2020 Opening Day Game at T-Mobile Park

The Seattle Mariners may not a team with sky-high expectations this season given how ruthless the AL West can be, but they'r about to start off their season in the best way possible by inviting one of their greatest players in franchise history to throw out the ceremonial first pitch to get the 2020 season underway.
On March 26, former longtime Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki will throw out the first pitch at T-Mobile Park prior to the club's Opening Day game against the Texas Rangers.
Ichiro retired from baseball after a legendary 19-year career immediately following a series hosted in Japan that Ichiro and his Mariners partook in one year ago.
The 2001 AL MVP and Rookie of the Year was just recently seen at Mariners Spring Training throwing batting practice to players. The Mariners' official Twitter also hinted at this possibility before making it official.
Ichiro finished his MLB career with 3,089 hits, 780 RBIs, and 509 stolen bases, and was also an elite defensive right fielder, as he won a total of 10 Gold Gloves and had a cannon for an arm. When he steps up to the mound in March, expect a capacity crowd to rise to its feet in Seattle.
