Iconic Packers DB LeRoy Butler Fires Off Ecstatic Tweet After Learning He's a Hall of Fame Finalist

Leroy Butler spent his entire NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, and was a star over the course of his tenure there. The Super Bowl champion was named a Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2020 finalist Thursday, he couldn't help but share his excitement over the news via Twitter.

Butler is one of 15 finalists for the Class of 2020, and his excitement is completely understandable.
His career highlights include four Pro Bowls, four All-Pro selections, and a Super Bowl XXXI win. He also is credited with popularizing the "Lambeau Leap," building his legend even further.

Butler was one of the best Packers of his generation, and was embraced after arriving in 1990 as a second-round pick out of Florida State. Having 38 career interceptions and helping to invent an iconic bit of choreography that his lived on throughout the years makes it easy to see why Packers fans love him -- and why he is a Hall of Fame finalist for the first time.
