Idiot Browns Fans Couldn't Even Spell 'Cleveland' on Sign at Hall of Fame Game
By Michael Luciano
While not all of us may be able to spell iridocyclitis like the whiz kids in the National Spelling Bee, "Cleveland" should not be a word that gives us a ton of trouble. Just sound it out phonetically and you're good, right?
Apparently, a couple Browns fans at the Hall of Fame game between the Broncos and Falcons on Thursday night are still having trouble with the name of a city that is literally an hour away from Canton. That poor spelling gave us what might already be the fan-made sign of the season.
On the football field, between Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham, maybe not. In the classroom, "Clevland" apparently still has some work to do.
The mortal lock of the year is that if the Browns get off to a slow start, which is entirely possible given their schedule, then this comical butchering of Cleveland is going to be brought up once again on Twitter.
Browns fans are among the most loyal and passionate in the NFL, so they might be able to earn a pass for this if they keep up their usual rabid nature once the season starts.
