If you thought March 28 only resonates with fans of the New England Patriots for their improbable comeback victory in Super LI against the Atlanta Falcons after trailing 28-3, well, think again.

The date is also mighty relevant in the college football ranks, specifically the Big Ten.

Back in November, Michigan State blew a 28-3 second quarter lead at home to Illinois. On Saturday, the Fighting Illini trolled the Spartans with a perfect tweet. Not only did the post include the lopsided scoreboard, but it also showed Michigan State driving in the red zone with a chance to extend its lead.

Illinois really put Sparty in a body bag with this tweet.

Lovie Smith's side stormed back with at 27-point fourth quarter to complete the thrilling 37-34 win over their conference rival. It gave the Fighting Illini their largest comeback dub in program history, and the fact that it transpired in East Lansing made it even sweeter for Illinois.

We'd like to take this time to congratulate the Falcons, who are no longer the only team that has to worry about taking the brunt of March 28 jokes. It's been a long road, but Atlanta finally has some company in that department.
