Incredible Tweet Shows Just How Far Yankees' Lineup Has Come Since April
By Brian Cass

It's no secret that the New York Yankees have dealt with an abundance of injuries this season. From Aaron Judge missing about two months, to Giancarlo Stanton playing just three games before hitting the shelf, there's been no shortage of excuses the ball club could have used in 2019.
But despite all the ailments their lineup has been dealt throughout the year, the Yanks still find themselves with the best record in the AL East and just a half game back of the best record in the entire American League. And now that most their injured players are starting to get healthy again, there's no doubt New York is in for a deep postseason run come October. The comparison between the lineup for Tuesday's game matched up against a mid-April lineup is simply uncanny.

Their lineup is entirely different, and far superior, as we enter the dog days of summer, something that New York fans should be ecstatic about.
Along with the return of Judge and Stanton, the reinstatement of Aaron Hicks and the acquisition of Edwin Encarnacion only stand to help players like Luke Voit and Gleyber Torres, two sluggers who were forced to bat higher in the order with their cornerstone players on the IL.
Now that the team is finally getting healthy, everyone in the lineup can play in their natural spot, which will only add more fire power to an already stellar lineup.
Hal Steinbrenner said #Yankees have been looking into their whole medical/rehab situation based on rash of injuries this season.

“I’m very hands on. I wish I could tell you there’s a smoking gun. There is no smoking gun. We’ve looked at everything.”
Injuries can dismantle even the best of teams, but not the Yanks, and now that the team is slowly getting back to full strength, there should be only one goal in mind once October rolls around: a World Series title.
