Indians Invite Justin Bieber to Throw First Pitch After Twitter Exchange With Shane Bieber
By Jerry Trotta

We bet you didn't see this one coming...at least not in this lifetime.
Pop music icon Justin Bieber and Shane Bieber of the Cleveland Indians share one apparent thing in common -- their lauded last name.
Shane is fairly an unknown commodity amongst Major League Baseball, despite his impressive 2019 campaign (this year's All-Star Game MVP). After all, he only made his professional debut in 2018 for the Tribe. In spite of all of those dynamics, however, you would expect Topps not to blunder the young hurler's card, right? Not exactly. And Shane was quick to call out the renowned company on Twitter.

Of course (because Twitter is that awesome and hysterical), Justin replied to Shane's misfortunes.
I feel like we have a special connection https://t.co/fv80Lf8ABu

In turn, the Indians took it upon themselves to extend the adored artist an invite to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming home game at Progressive Field.
Got an "I'M JUSTIN" #57 jersey waiting for you at Progressive Field. Swing by and pick it up before your first pitch?

That's (somehow) not all the Twitter activity concerning this narrative, folks. Topps reached out to the Indians right-hander to apologize...with an excerpt from one of Justin's most famous songs, "Sorry."
Is it too late to say sorry?

The beauty of Twitter in a nutshell, ladies and gents -- reuniting pop stars and big league pitchers since 2019.
