Indians' Trevor Bauer Calls Out Mike Francesa After Being Labeled as 'Headcase' Who Can't Handle NY
By Adam Weinrib

As trade season reaches its apex (the deadline's next week, somehow!), the AL Wild Card-leading Indians may or may not cash out their best pitcher for... cash.
Trevor Bauer may still be dealt, and if the New York Yankees really want to make a pitching splash, that's where they'll go.
However, don't ask New York sports radio "icon" Mike Francesa about a potential deal if you don't want to get a tongue lashing; he doesn't believe in Bauer's mentality whatsoever.

Though this isn't Francesa's personal account (just a "fan" and accumulator of highlights, that's all), the operator chose to tag Bauer in the tweet, and got what he paid for.
Yes, Bauer responded, and wants to let you all know he's above this.
Lol nice...tag me in this looking to start drama and I’m the headcase and nutjob and whatever else is said in this video? That’s hilarious! Traditional media for you...this is why it’s dying. I do love the logo in the background tho! If only he looked like that in real life! ?? https://t.co/ZIBUgqI1pN

Oh, to live in a world where an old man mumbling into a microphone for four hours is what "traditional media" generally refers to.
That being said, Bauer's Twitter presence is annoying, his methods of dealing with criticism are patented bullying, and his societal views are questionable, but his right arm is impervious to such things. If he came to New York, he'd be fine.
But if the Tribe sold him, they'd have a bloodbath on their hands. Francesa need not worry.
