Indians Claim They Hid Nicolas Cage in a Ton of Lineup Graphics Last Year and We Believe Them
By Max Smith
If you're looking for something to do as you pass time during quarantine, look no further than the Cleveland Indians Twitter account. They claim that they hid secret pictures of actor Nicolas Cage in nearly 40 of their lineup graphics from last year!
It's crazy that no one caught onto their hijinks, as they continued to do it throughout the entire season. On this graphic, you can make out Cage's face if you zoom in on Mike Clevinger's wrist, in the middle of his sunflower tattoo.
Some of these are hilarious, including this one from August in which Cage's blurry face is photoshopped over a random fan's from August 29th.
It's always fun when sports teams engage in silly games on their social media accounts, and this is one of the greatest examples of just the kind of thing we need to get through these days of quarantine. It's great to see the Tribe not taking themselves too seriously.
So, if you truly are feeling "Wild at Heart," be sure to take a scroll through the Indians' Twitter account. It's definitely a "National Treasure."
