The matchup will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest and SportsTime Ohio at 8:05 p.m. ET. Further streams can be found on the MLB Streams subreddit.
The Indians enter this game coming off a commanding 8-0 victory over the Detroit Tigers. Texas, on the other hand, just wrapped up a series victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
Indians Lineup
Francisco Lindor will continue to hit leadoff, with Oscar Mercado and Carlos Santana rounding out the top third of the lineup. Jason Kipnis is the cleanup hitter, followed by the struggling Jose Ramirez. Jake Bauers, Roberto Perez, Tyler Naquin and Leonys Martin round out the order.
Mike Clevinger (1-0) will make his return from the IL after missing the past couple of months with a back injury. Prior to the injury, Clevinger was phenomenal in two starts, posting 22 strikeouts in just 12 innings with zero earned runs to his name.
Rangers Lineup
The Rangers are playing without star slugger Joey Gallo, who's been sidelined with an oblique injury since June 2. Delino DeShields Jr. has taken over center field duties in his absence, and will bat second in the order Monday. Hunter Pence was also placed on the 10-day IL with a groin strain. Willie Calhoun has been activated and will bat fifth in the order and play left field.
Lance Lynn will be one to watch out for in this one, as he has posted a 3.18 ERA in his last seven starts, which includes games against tough teams like the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros. Lynn looks to improve upon his current 4.40 ERA.
The Rangers have been one of baseball's surprise teams this year, as they've produced the third-most runs in the league this season with 400. They'll look to make it a difficult night for Clevinger in his return.
