The Cleveland Indians (26-27) and Boston Red Sox (29-25) will continue their three-game series tonight at Fenway Park.
The Red Sox took the opening matchup of the series on Monday behind an offensive explosion, registering 13 hits, 12 runs, and 4 homers on the day. Sandy Leon and JD Martinez each clubbed two bombs, paving the way to a 12-5 Boston victory.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch at Fenway is slated for 7:10 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NESN and STO, with live streaming available on the MLB streams subreddit.
Indians Lineup
Cleveland, losers of 7 of its last 10, is trying to snap out of a funk. The offense is struggling outside of Francisco Lindor and Carlos Santana. Perhaps most concerning is the lack of production the Indians are receiving from usual slugger Jose Ramirez, who has a .197 average and .592 OPS. Ramirez was missing from yesterday's lineup but will slide back in at third today. Zach Plesac will take the mound for Cleveland in his major league debut.
Red Sox Lineup
The Boston Red Sox are starting to hit their stride but still sit 6.5 games back in the AL East behind the Yankees. Boston's offense has been excellent, ranking third in baseball with 289 runs scored. JD Martinez and Mookie Betts are back to mashing baseballs, with contributions also coming from rookie sensation aichael Chavis, who went 2-for-3 in yesterday's win. David Price will take the bump after leaving his start on Sunday early and will look to shut down Cleveland's lineup.
