Israel Adesanya Trolls Jon Jones With Comical NSFW Tweet Before UFC 239
By Brian Cass

While Jon Jones is preparing to face Thiago Santos Saturday night at UFC 239, fellow fighter Israel Adesanya just keep chirping at him. In an earlier interview with pundit Ariel Helwani, "Bones" said that despite all the trash talk, "Israel is light in the [expletive]. He's light. He's skinny. I put my hands on him, I'll teach him a whole different world of hurt."
Jones is just about the last man in the UFC, you should be picking a fight with, but to Adesanya's credit, he came back at Jones with this tweet after Jones' "light in the [expletive]" comments.

We get it, this is what the UFC is all about, but should Adesanya really be poking the pound-for-pound beast like this? The two don't have a fight on the horizon as of yet, but if this beef continues to stay heated, we could have a very compelling matchup on our hands.
Adesanya isn't scheduled to fight again until UFC 243 in October, when he'll take on Robert Whittaker.
Israel Adesanya weighed-in at 183 pounds for a middleweight title fight and is basically writing the first chapter of whatever his legacy in the UFC will ultimately become. Drop the Jon Jones stuff, please.

Fighting someone of Jon Jones' caliber would certainly give the Last Stylebender some greater recognition and respect. But honestly, he's better off staying at his current weight and taking on whomever he can in his class.
Dana White loves pitting bitter rivals against each other in the Octagon, but this budding standoff will need a bit more juice before we see it come to fruition in the UFC.
