It's Almost Impossible for Patriots to Trade for Stefon Diggs

The Minnesota Vikings' season hasn't gone as planned so far. This has led to a few disgruntled players on the team, with the most noticable being star reciever Stefon Diggs.
To add to possible trade speculation, Diggs posted a non-context tweet on Monday. So of course, the Diggs to New England rumors have heated up since. But, according to a chart recently posted on Twitter, this trade would be almost impossible.

Of the 15 teams listed, New England doesn't appear at all. Cap space could prevent this from even being a discussion.
With the trade deadline 26 days away, teams tightest to the cap, per this AM's cap report ...

1) Vikings $227K
2) Patriots $1.823M
3) Rams $2.076M
4) Giants $2.353M
5) Saints $2.491M
6) Falcons $2.703M
7) Steelers $3.946M
8) Cardinals $5.840M
9) Bucs $5.978M
10) Jets $6.367M
The only way the Patriors could get Diggs is if the Vikings were willing to go through with a trade that had them taking in expensive players to free up New England's cap space. And given that Minnesota is in an even worse cap situation, there's basically no chance we see this happen.
Most NFL fans would agree that this is a good thing, as the Patriots don't need to get any better than they already are.
