It's Okay to Admit You're Excited to Watch Robert Griffin III Start for the Ravens Sunday
By Michael Luciano

If a year ago, you were to assert that Robert Griffin III would have a longer NFL career than Andrew Luck, you would have been laughed out of the room.
Yet here we are in Week 17 of the 2019 season, and RGIII will start against the Pittsburgh Steelers as the Baltimore Ravens, who already have home field advantage locked up, will rest a few of their key players, including starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, ahead of the playoffs.
With the No. 1 seed locked up, Lamar Jackson, Mark Ingram, Earl Thomas, Marshal Yanda and Brandon Williams all won't play Sunday vs. the #Steelers.

Get ready for the return of Griffin. While he's seen limited snaps in relief of Jackson, this game will be just his sixth start since 2014.
While a few serious injuries and some horrific coaching nearly ruined him, Griffin managed to sneak on to Baltimore's roster in 2018 after his disastrous year with the Browns, and has a good chance of winning his first NFL start in half a decade.

RG3 isn't going to be the Jackson-esque game-changer we thought he would be. However, the fact that he's not only managed to claw his way back into the pros, but earn himself a start on one of the best teams in the league, is nothing short of astounding given the type of career he's had.
Unless you're a Steelers fan, you're probably rooting for Griffin to go off.
