It Sounds Like Brett Brown is Going to Try and Make Ben Simmons Shoot More 3s

The 76ers have one of the highest ceilings of any team next season. But whether or not they reach this potential largely depends on the development of young star Ben Simmons.
Despite being a 6-foot-10 guard with a shocking amount of talent, Simmons' offensive game is very limited due to the lack of a jump shot. This issue isn't a big deal during the regular season, but becomes very apparent in the playoffs when facing elite defensive teams, like this year against the Raptors and Celtics.
Ben Simmons had more turnovers than field goals 3 times against the Raptors (Games 2, 5, 7).

He did not attempt a single shot outside the paint during the series.
Thankfully, it looks like Simmons has put in a lot of work over the summer to add a consistent jumper. This has been confirmed by coach Brett Brown, who seems thoroughly impressed.

It's difficult to just take Brown's word, as coaches tend to hype up their players regardless if they've made any improvement. But throughout the offseason, footage has been posted of Simmons in pickup games making jumpers.

If Brown is serious about moving Simmons on the floor once the regular season starts, then we could see the 76ers' star tossing up more shots to build up his confidence.
