Ivica Zubac Tweets Perfect Reaction to Magic Johnson Admitting Trading Him to Clippers Was His Idea
By Brian Cass
Magic Johnson went on ESPN's 'First Take' Monday morning for what turned out to be an incredibly revealing and rather juicy interview. He discussed various topics about his tenure in the Lakers front office, including his involvement in certain deals made at the trade deadline.
During his time on air, Johnson revealed that he was in fact the one responsible for dealing young center Ivica Zubac to the Clippers. Well, Zubac caught word of Johnson's interview, and took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the revelation.
Not only does this tweet perfectly encapsulate how Magic handled Zubac's trade, but it pretty much sums up Magic's entire tenure as the Lakers President.
Zubac would join the Lakers' inner-city rivals, where he averaged 9.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He probably prefers his new situation, considering the change in teams enabled him to see increased time on the court.
The Lakers may still be in a really bad spot with Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss, but at least they won't have to deal with the ineptitude of Magic Johnson anymore.
Despite being involved in the trade, it's awesome to see that Zubac finds the mess as hilarious as we do.
