Jacob Eason is Apparently Flying Up Draft Boards Because Size Matters
By Jerry Trotta

The NFL Combine is officially underway at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, which means teams around the league will get closer looks at coveted prospects in the 2020 draft pool .
Nothing, of course, is ever set in stone and the board will inevitably be shuffled in some form. That narrative is reportedly already starting to emerge.
Matt Miller, an acclaimed draft scout for Bleacher Report, understands that former Washington Huskies gunslinger Jacob Eason is climbing up the power rankings.

Talked to a director of player personnel last night who said Jacob Eason will leave here a top 15 pick. #Bucs are a natural fit. #Colts could look at QBs in Round 1. And don't rule out trades up the board.
That's right, folks. Eason could leave Indy highly-regarded as a top 15 prospect after merely weighing in at the combine on Day 1. Miller tabs the Colts and Buccaneers, two teams at a crossroads at the quarterback position, as ideal fits.
Size matters! Didn't you know?
Eason was measured at 6-5 and 231 pounds. The kicker? Neither of those tallies rank as the most imposing among QBs attending the combine. Oregon product Justin Herbert (6-6, 236 pounds) won that contest.

Mel Kiper's latest mock draft had Eason falling to the New England Patriots, who have the No. 23 overall selection. We'll have to see how the rest of the combine plays out, but as of right now, Eason is all the rage in Indianapolis.
