Jadon Haselwood Torn ACL is Severe Hit to Receiving Corps That Oklahoma Cannot Afford
By Mark Powell

Already tasked with doing the unthinkable in replacing their third Heisman finalist signal-caller in three years as well as his favorite receiver, Lincoln Riley and the Oklahoma Sooners are faced with another challenge.
Former 5-star wideout Jadon Haselwood, who was expected to make major strides as a sophomore, tore his ACL working out at home. If there is a season, he won't play a part in it.

Haselwood isn't the only injured Sooners receiver, as UCLA grad transfer Theo Howard also suffered a major knee ailment this offseason. Expected to turn to former stud QB recruit Spencer Rattler behind center next year, such a task will become exceptionally tougher for Riley without some of the best wideouts on the roster available.

The Sooners' head man has been working overtime remotely in recruiting, tying to add receiver talent to the roster late in the game.
Charleston Rambo will be heavily relied upon, especially with a new quarterback coming in, yet opposing defenses will dictate coverage towards the redshirt junior, and the lack of a sufficient second option like Haselwood or Howard could come back to bite the Sooners by season's end.
