Jaguars Announce Nick Foles Will Return as Starting QB and Take Over for Rookie Gardner Minshew

As wonderful as it was, it looks like Minshew Mania has come to an end...for now.
After the Jaguars suffered a rough loss in London over the weekend to the Houston Texans, it was widely expected Gardner Minshew would lose the starting quarterback job to a now-healthy Nick Foles.
Foles, the team's big offseason signing, had been out since Week 1 due to a broken clavicle, but is set to return following the Week 10 bye. When he does get back in uniform, he'll be the team's starter once again, as Doug Marrone officially confirmed on Tuesday.

This is the right call by Marrone, though Minshew played brilliantly at times for the Jags, winning six Rookie of the Week awards this season. In his time running the offense, the former Washington State signal caller tossed for 2,285 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Unfortunately for Minshew, he struggled over the weekend, tossing two horrific interceptions to help seal the victory for Houston.

It's Foles time once again in Jacksonville, and back to the bench for Minshew. Jacksonville will head to Indianapolis next weekend to take on the Colts.
