Jaguars Long Snapper Matt Overton Says He'll Buy Angry Colts Fans' Season Tickets and Donate Them

One man's trash is another man's treasure, and the Jaguars' Matt Overton is taking that to heart.

The Jacksonville long snapper is offering to buy the season tickets from Colts fans demanding a refund following Andrew Luck's retirement. He then plans to donate them to less fortunate people who actually want to watch a live NFL game.

Overton offered to provide the Indianapolis-based Riley Children's foundation with the tickets, which is an organization he has worked with in the past. The 34-year-old spent four seasons with the Colts before making his way to the Jaguars in 2017.

Donating the tickets would be a much better alternative than angrily calling the Colts for refunds. If the season ticket holders don't want to watch the upcoming season, there are plenty of children and family members who would. After all, if you're a season ticket holder, it's safe to say you're not strapped for cash.

After booing Andrew Luck off the field in wake of the retirement news, maybe some Colts fans will come to their senses and do what's actually right.
