Jaguars release CB Shaquill Griffin

Come next season, veteran cornerback Shaquill Griffin will be looking for a new place to call home. On Wednesday, news broke that Jacksonville had decided to part ways with the playmaker. Prior to his days with the Jags, Griffin was a stud with Seattle.

He's a great player and the kind of stud that teams would love to try and land in free agency. His market should be pretty big in the coming weeks.

Griffin was a great talent for Jacksonville, but this looks to be a case where they're trying to save some money. We should find out soon where he'll be playing next.
