Yannick Ngakoue's Twitter Behavior Will Lower His Value and Likely Help Seahawks and Eagles in Trade Talks

The Jacksonville Jaguars and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue need to split up as soon as possible. There's no chance of reconciliation between the two sides and that was even more evident when Ngakoue and Jaguars VP Tony Khan had a back-and-forth on Twitter Monday afternoon.

Ngakoue wants to be traded immediately and Khan told him that will only happen if a proper offer is made. This type of conversation should not be happening on social media. Given how toxic this relationship has gotten, Ngakou's trade value will continue to decrease exponentially by the day.

That's good news for teams like the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles, who have been linked to the defender in trade buzz.

The Jaguars placed the franchise tag on Ngakoue for the value of $17.78 million in 2020. He wants a long-term deal and does not want one in Jacksonville, who isn't even willing to give him one anyway. Everyone knew this relationship was on the rocks, but now that it's becoming more and more public thanks to Ngakoue's Twitter antics, the Jags might not have much of a choice when trading him and will have to take what they can get.

Forget about a first-round pick, that's not happening. A second-rounder might not either! The latest interaction with Khan -- and the fact that he responded! -- should have teams across the league picking up the phone to call the Jags and get the star defensive end at a bargain price.
