Jake Arrieta might be in the midst of one of the worst statistical big league seasons of his career, but his confidence and personality are still as prevalent as ever.

Fresh off allowing five runs on seven hits and five walks across 4.2 innings during a no-decision against the Padres on Wednesday, the 2015 NL Cy Young was caught rocking an alarmingly descriptive shirt prior to the Phillies' clash against the Reds on Friday.

Have a look.

So, not only is Arrieta audacious enough to troll his new ball club for misspelling his name and brave enough to call out new teammate and established superstar, Bryce Harper, but he is also brazen enough to wear a shirt that reads, "Check out my dong."

Did you all pick up on the common denominator? None of these storylines suggest that the 33-year-old vet is at all concerned about his poor showing this season.

Is the shirt laugh-out-loud worthy? To the common baseball fan, yes. Absolutely. But Phillies fans finding humor in this should pause and realize that the man they are paying $75 million over three years holds a 5-5 record, 4.29 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and has surrendered 14 home runs in 2019.

I hate to be THAT guy, but Arrieta should seriously focus on righting his wrongs on the mound over making the media and fans laugh. Just like the majority of his pitches this season, he's knocking the latter out of the ballpark. Another jumbo dong.
