The NCAA football season is less than a month away, which means many die-hard fans are dissecting their favorite school's schedule. Perhaps one of the bigger matchups in 2019 is between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Such a special occasion calls for a special request. And according to SEC commentator Brad Nessler, Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm revealed that he wants to wear the alternate black jerseys against Notre Dame.

"Jake mentioned that — I don’t know if I should say this, I haven’t told anyone this – 'I think we should wear black jerseys.'" Nessler said, via 92.9 FM The Game, while discussing a brief conversation he had with the star quarterback.
Georgia introduced the alternate black jerseys back in 2007, in which the Bulldogs defeated the Auburn Tigers. The last time Georgia wore those uniforms was in 2016, when they faced Louisiana Lafayette. Overall, the Bulldogs are 3-1 in those jerseys, with their lone loss coming to Alabama in 2008.

Would Kirby Smart make it happen? https://t.co/K2S2aqMRCy
Notre Dame-Georgia is already one of the most expensive college football tickets this season, and is set for primetime television. Bringing back the fan favorite black jerseys will only up the importance.
If Jake Fromm is successful in bringing them back, Bulldog fans around the nation owe him a thank you.
