Jake Fromm's Comment Defending His Small Hand Size is Clueless

The NFL Combine taking place means it is time for the annual, well-loved discussion on the hand size of various quarterbacks. Georgia's Jake Fromm had a particularly small measurement, as his hands came in under nine inches from thumb to pinkie.

This is small compared to his proposed NFL counterparts, but Fromm was not worried at all. He shared a quote that was a bit surprising when it came to what his hands helped him do at Georgia.

Fromm is confusing his hands with the talent he had around him on both sides of the ball at Georgia. No particular offense to Fromm, but a better quarterback may have helped the Bulldogs win a National Championship during his tenure.

In 2017 Fromm had both Sony Michel and Nick Chubb behind him. Roquan Smith was leading the defense that year as well. The NFL talent was present once again in 2018 and last season.

Fromm's small hands may not be a big deal. But they are certainly not what led his Georgia teams to deep postseason runs. That was thanks to the talent around him and he should at least acknowledge that to avoid looking foolish.
