Jalen Hurts NFL Combine Height, Weight and Hand Size Revealed
By Sam Dunn
It's finally that time of year again. With the NFL Draft on the horizon, the best and brightest emerging from the college ranks now have their chance to deliver a final boost to their stock by showing off all the right moves at the annual Scouting Combine.
For his part, Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Jalen Hurts has a lot to prove. Despite authoring a uniquely brilliant college career, he projects as a late third- or possibly fourth-round pick. So, with that in mind, how did he literally measure up this week in Indianapolis?
At 6-1 and 222 pounds, he comes in a bit bigger than his former Alabama Crimson Tide teammate, Tua Tagovailoa, but his hands are notably smaller by an eighth of an inch. Without the size of a prototypical NFL quarterback, his best bet at this point is to be the kind of guy that flies under the radar and ends up making a lot of teams look foolish for passing up the chance to take him.
There's much more to learn from this week's NFL Combine, including the usual litany of drills and perplexing interview questions. If Hurts wants the best possible draft day, it's incumbent upon him to turn some heads.
