Jalen Ramsey Basically Subtweets Jaguars Because He Can
By Jerry Trotta
Jalen Ramsey practically bullied his way out of Jacksonville this past season, forcing the Jaguars' hand by sitting out a cluster of games with supposed injuries.
Eventually, the All-Pro cornerback's wish was granted, and he was dealt to a supposed contender in the Los Angeles Rams, who, in ironic fashion, didn't even sniff the playoffs.
Still, Ramsey clearly fancies LA over Jacksonville, and given how he pushed the Jags front office around, he's earned the right to throw jabs at his former franchise on social media. Ramsey did just that on Tuesday night.
The former No.5 overall pick is often cryptic on Twitter, but this is as transparent as a satirist like him could be. Ramsey might as well have said, "Los Angeles is so much better than Jacksonville," but he's clearly committed to keeping his subtweet game as "impenetrable" as ever.
As suspected, Ramsey's banter didn't sit well with a bevy of Jaguars fans, and some were even brash enough to clap back at their former superstar DB.
Our guess? The Florida State product couldn't care less, which further proves that La La Land is the perfect place for him.
