Jalen Ramsey Contract Details

Many NFL teams will be taking a look at the numbers in Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey's contract following his trade request, and with Jacksonville asking for more than expected in a return, potential suitors will have to carefully consider bringing the two-time Pro Bowl selection in.
For the sake of the whole league, let's hope Stone Cold Bill Belichick doesn't get the chance to add Ramsey to his defense.

Jalen Ramsey Contract Details
Ramsey's contract with the Jaguars is worth $23.35 million, spanning over four years, with a $15 million signing bonus and $22 million guaranteed, giving him an average salary of $5.8 million.
His current base salary is $3.6 million, but will jump to $13.7 million next year, which is the last year on his contract before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
With another $3.7 million to account for due to a signing bonus, Jacksonville will see a $7.4 million cap hit this season, so long as Ramsey as on their roster. But the Jaguars could be aiming to move their star cornerback as soon as this Friday.
Only three cornerbacks in the NFL have allowed a sub-80.0 passer rating in each of the last three seasons (min 50 tgts.)

Ramsey is currently the 38th-highest-paid cornerback in the league, and his talent has certainly exceeded that number. Whoever lands Ramsey this season is in for a bargain, and won't be breaking the bank next year either.
