Jalen Ramsey Reiterates Trade Request and Gives Gross NSFW Update on Illness
By Sam Dunn
The relationship between Jalen Ramsey and his Jacksonville Jaguars remains strained. The star defensive back threw a wrench in the works when he first announced that he sought a trade out of town, and restated his desire for a new NFL home Thursday on the "17 Weeks" podcast.
And he made sure to add a gross detail on the illness he's been reportedly dealing with that held him out of football activities last week.
A number of skeptics suggested that Ramsey was faking sick as an excuse to get out of practicing or playing for a team he no longer wants to be a part of. He made sure to push back on the podcast.
“Was truly sick. Had the flu, was throwing up," he said. "Threw up at least four times, had the s***s, had to go to the doctor, had to get IVs, had to take all type of medicine and eat chicken noodle soup, do all the remedies that I could do. So that wasn’t fake as people may think."
Geez, Jalen, was every last one of those details necessary?
A divorce is surely coming on the banks of the St. Johns River, and Ramsey sounds content to play little to no football until that happens.
And that will give him plenty of time to keep dropping gross details about the inner workings of his body, unfortunately.
