Jamal Adams Accuses Leonard Fournette of Faking Injury at LSU and Escalates Twitter Beef Quickly
By Michael Luciano
It appears we have some Tiger on Tiger crime on Twitter this afternoon.
Former LSU studs Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams, who have since become stars for the Jaguars and Jets, respectively, butted heads online after Fournette claimed Adams hid under a table during a fight in their sophomore year in college. Adams responded by pointing out Fournette refused to play in LSU's bowl game ahead of the draft, claiming an injury.
Naturally, Fournette replied by gloating that he was selected fourth overall in the 2017 draft, while Adams went sixth overall.
The running back threw even MORE gas on the fire when he claimed that he would constantly run over Adams in practice. These sound like fighting words.
Fournette later clarified that these weren't meant to be taken as a declaration of war against his former teammate, and that he still has love for Adams.
Fournette might have made it clear that this was all in good fun, but Adams has been radio silent ever since his first tweet. Maybe he's not taking this very well. If this is indeed a beef, we may not have seen the last of it.
