Jamal Adams Gets in Bizarre Twitter Battle With Derek Carr's Brother After Sunday's Jets Win
By Scott Rogust

Nearly a month ago, the New York Jets were the joke of the NFL after giving the Miami Dolphins their first win of the season. Now, they're on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Oakland Raiders 34-3 on Sunday afternoon, and...feeling themselves.
As is tradition, Jets safety Jamal Adams took to Twitter to share his excitement following the win, notably with a photo of him making a play in said game. His latest pic came at the expense of Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who did not have a wonderful Sunday
That move drew the ire of Carr's brother, Darren, who commented on the tweet.

You'd think this would just be a harmless, fun interaction. Somehow, that was far from the case, as Adams and Carr exchanged vicious jabs for a while thereafter. Darren responded with photos of...Adams getting burned by New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown years ago. Adequate comeback, at best.

And Adams made things personal.
I understand you never made it to the big stage, but stop living through your brothas. You need to focus on your lil high school job... you got class to teach tomorrow! https://t.co/M11ZL3QmC2

Whew.
Since Adams brought it up, Darren elaborated on why he didn't make the NFL like his bros, Derek and David.
Jamal, you are a heck of a player man. But I have 50 young men that have more respect for their opponent then you do. A “pro” making fun of a HS teacher/Coach. Had a heart problem & couldn’t play anymore, so thanks for brining it up.

*Its thanksgiving break brother, week off ?
Eeep. Not great, Bob!
But Adams dropped one final reply.
What kind of teacher uses *then instead of *than?! Grammar is important Mr Carr! Enjoy your week off! Luv https://t.co/rjMjAl47u2

Yes, this Twitter exchange was all the result of a single game photo. Continue as you all were. No judgment on Darren Carr's coaching abilities. Sure he's great.
