Jameis Winston Has a Chance to Overtake Peyton Manning in the Record Books for Worst Stat Ever

There are very few things more deflating than throwing a pick-six in the sport of football. Unfortunately for Jameis Winston, he is one interception return for a touchdown away from being the all-time leader in that statistical category for a single season.

Winston threw three interceptions in the first half of the Buccaneers game against the Texans on Saturday, one of which directly cost his team six points.

This is probably the only instance where having your name alongside Peyton Manning’s is not a good thing.

It didn't take long for Winston to gift the Texans with an easy score. Bradley Roby undercut an out route and returned it to the house less than a minute into the contest.

The only person happier than Texans' fans after that early score is probably Manning, who is no longer the sole holder of that record.

Winston could make history if he throws a seventh pick-six before the NFL regular season comes to a conclusion. This is not the type of stat that the turnover-prone QB will want to be associated with.
