VIDEO: Jameis Winston Workout Clip is Useless and Proves Nothing

Jameis Winston is trying to show the NFL world he can still play, but this video really isn't helping his case for a new contract. This video, supposedly showing Winston's ability to withstand pressure in the pocket, has been making the rounds online.

What is he trying to prove? Seriously, it is unclear what talent Winston is trying to put on display here.

Yes, he can easily dodge a large object that slowly moves near his head. That's all well and good, but does nothing to dispose the notion that Winston has in any way changed from the turnover prone quarterback we know him to be. He doesn't even throw the ball!

The video seems more fitting as an audition to play Indiana Jones than to be a starting QB in the NFL.

Now that Tom Brady has supplanted him in Tampa, it is unclear what is next in Winston's career. What is clear, though, is that this workout video is not helping his cause.

Winton is still the same QB that lead the league by a mile in interceptions with 30, and still remains unsigned, despite a potential fit with the Steelers.
