James Conner Questionable to Return vs Jets With Thigh Injury
By Michael Luciano
The Pittsburgh Steelers entered a must-win game against Le'Veon Bell and the New York Jets with tons of momentum and energy, but they've come out flat and have yet to score a TD. What's worse, running back James Conner is hurt again.
Conner, playing in just his second game since missing a month with injury, is questionable to return to the game with a thigh injury.
Pittsburgh is currently trailing Sam Darnold and the Jets 10-3, as the offense hasn't gotten much of anything going.
Conner, who isn't even averaging 4.0 yards per carry in Pittsburgh's first post-Bell season, has been struggling to stay healthy all season long.
Conner will be replaced by a litany of running backs, as Benny Snell, Kerrith Whyte, and Jaylen Samuels will try to replace the former Pitt Panther. Literally nothing has gone right for the Steelers on Sunday, who have already benched quarterback Devlin Hodges for Mason Rudolph.
