James Harden Changed up His Look and is Rocking Cornrows Now
By Jerry Trotta

James Harden might not have shaved his signature beard, but his new makeover will still come as a shock for the common NBA fan.
The former MVP is debuting fresh cornrows for the Houston Rockets nationally-televised showdown against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Cornrows and a headband? We never thought we'd live to see the day. Considering The Beard hasn't changed things up for years, we just assumed he was destined to sport his accepted conventional look until he retired.
We'd call the new hairdo superstitious, but Harden is in the midst of one of the most historical scoring seasons in league history, averaging a whopping 38.2 points per game through 34 fixtures.

Additionally, his Rockets are currently penciled in as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference with a 23-11 record.
Who knows the motive behind the look, but we'll sure be tuned in to see if Harden balls out with his new cornrows.
