Jared Dudley Shuts Down Dumb Twitter User Who Questioned His Game
By Charles Nason

Jared Dudley hasn't even played a game with the Los Angeles Lakers since moving over from the Brooklyn Nets in free agency, but he seems to have a good understanding already of his role on the team.
With the amount of star power on the Lakers' roster heading into the 2019-20 NBA season, Dudley wasn't brought to LA to take over games. The Lakers will be the seventh team he's called home in his 12-year career, after all. Alongside names like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the veteran forward knows his place, and is already shutting down a new group of doubters.
No, I do what is needed for me to do on certain teams.. That team was young and needed veteran guidance. Sometimes needed plays of ball movement to get the defense moving. With Vet teams with stars its about spacing and making sure the right people get the right shots https://t.co/i7Rl0m59UI

The last time we saw Jared Dudley in action was during the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, during which he played the role of villain and instigator up against 76ers star Ben Simmons. Here, however, we're seeing a more humble and profound side of Jared Dudley.
Despite not being an outright star, Dudley is an intelligent player and a leader at the end of the day. It seems like he's already off to a good start with his new team, and understands what his responsibilities must be on a team so loaded with talent and saddled with expectations.
LAL just announced the additions of Jared Dudley and Troy Daniels. Dudley is known for his intelligence on the court and is a career 39.2% 3-point shooter, while Daniels is a sniper w/a career 40% average, and the only player last year with at least 70 3’s made in < 770 minutes.

Dudley definitley knows how to own his haters and elegantly bounce back from their criticism and doubts. Considering the entertainment we got out of Dudley in his short run with the Nets, he'll likely provide plenty more moments in under the spotlight at Staples Center.
