Jason Garrett's Latest Attempt to Pump up Cowboys Was So Wholly Lame
By Mark Powell

The Dallas Cowboys are in a tailspin, yet still control their own destiny for the NFC East crown. This, of course, says more about the quality of teams in the division than Dallas themselves.
On Thursday, lame-duck head coach Jason Garrett made another attempt to hype up his team prior to their game against the Rams this Sunday. Fittingly, it was just oh so lacking.
In effort to get the Cowboy out of their slump coach Jason Garrett showed his team a reel of their highlight plays this week to show them how good they are at their best. It included a few plays from last season.#coaching

It's been 13 games, yet Garrett had to reach back into last season's archives? That's not a good sign of things to come.
We'd call Sunday a must-win for Dallas, but considering how atrocious the Eagles have looked at times, the Cowboys could very well back their way into the playoffs. The NFC East has its own standard of horrible.

Due to the current NFL Postseason format, the winner of this trash division receives a home playoff game, albeit in the first round. If that's not motivation for Dallas to finally play to their full potential, we don't know what is.
For Garrett's sake, let's hope Dallas breaks out of their slump. We can't send him back down to the archives.
