Jason Kipnis Tweet About MLB Season Delay Will Make Cubs Fans Love Him

Across the MLB, there are free agents who signed with new teams who will have to wait a little while longer to make their regular-season debuts. Players like Gerrit Cole, Anthony Rendon, and others will have until at least May to wear the colors of their new teams for the first time in regular season action due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Another free agent that will have to wait for the regular season to start is new Chicago Cub Jason Kipnis, who signed a one-year deal with the Cubs during the offseason. Kipnis tweeted his disappointment about the situation on Monday.

It's important to note that he recognized that every decision made so far by MLB was a correct one. It can be difficult for a professional athlete to admit that, especially when they are approaching the back-end of their career. Kipnis then further made himself a quick fan-favorite by revealing his excitement to play in the friendly confines with the bleachers packed.
