VIDEO: Jason Myers Hits Game-Winning Field Goal as Time Expires in OT as Seahawks Defeat 49ers

Before you get too excited, just realize we watched the game of the year in the NFL. That was the apex, and it will not get any better. Pessimism aside, however, Seattle's narrow overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers (who are undefeated no more) is a regular season-defining victory for Pete Carroll and Co. Russell Wilson had (perhaps) his MVP moment, and Jason Myers cemented the result with a field goal as OT expired. Thank goodness, there was no tie.
The NFC West is loaded, with the 49ers, Seahawks and Rams all viewed as potential Super Bowl contenders. After securing a win on Monday night, and advancing to 5-0 on the road this season, Seattle is just one game back, setting up an intriguing battle down the stretch.
