Jaylen Waddle and Dolphins get things done on a new contract

This move has been in the works for quite some time, but the Miami Dolphins and Jaylen Waddle were finally able to get things done. This offseason, Waddle has been eyeing an extension and that's what he just received.
On Thursday, breaking news arrived that Miami has given Waddle a three-year extension worth $84.75 million. His new contract includes $76 million in guaranteed money, which is of course pretty eye-opening.

Now that the Dolphins have been able to get things done with Waddle, general manager Chris Grier will now hope to get things across the line with star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Tua is eyeing around $50-55 million per season in his new contract. Will that be finalized in the near future? We'll find out soon enough.
