Jeff Passan Dunks on Jay Glazer After Making Us Watch SportsCenter for MLB Season Update
By Michael Luciano
Jay Glazer, normally one of the most trusted NFL insiders in the business, is still taking his licks after being publicly tarred and feathered on Twitter a few weeks ago. Glazer hyped up a "big announcement" for a day and a half on Twitter, only for the underwhelming payoff to be that Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen tested positive for the coronavirus.
When Passan teased his own big announcement, which shed light on the MLB owners allowing prorated salaries in a shortened MLB season, he took a little shot at Glazer by saying his scoop actually had some weight and impact worthy of all the hype he gave it.
What did Glazer ever do to you, Jeff?
While Allen getting the coronavirus isn't a non-story, a potential restart of the 2020 season is certainly more important than one average NFL player getting infected with the coronavirus, especially when Glazer hyped it up for a day and a half.
Glazer still has a few weeks on the Twitter breaking wheel left before people forgive him for the Allen fiasco, and Passan is taking full advantage.
