Jeremy Lin Shares Comical Story of Kobe Bryant Blasting Lakers Teammates
By Tyler Kemp

Following Kobe Bryant’s tragic passing in January, teammates, opponents and coaches alike have all taken the time to reminisce on some of their favorite Black Mamba moments both on and off the court. A particular group of players who do not necessarily have the warmest of all memories with Bryant, however? The members of the Lakers who played with him during the last couple years of his career.
During the 2014-15 season, LA was having a tumultuous year. The team was struggling and in the process of a rebuild, and Bryant was nursing a shoulder injury. Former teammate Jeremy Lin shared a moment from this season on current Laker Danny Green’s “Inside the Green Room" podcast this week, and it was pure Mamba.
Imagine being on the #Lakers with Kobe Bryant and going into February w/ trading deadline approaching with a 13-34 record. @JLin7 recalled a practice during that 2014-15 season.

As a future Hall of Famer and five-time NBA champ, Bryant was not used to playing on terrible teams throughout his 20-year career. At that time, LA sat at a 13-34 record before the trade deadline. With Kobe oft-injured throughout the season, Los Angeles finished with a 21-61 record, more than justifying his farewell to the “bums.”
At least Lin can laugh about it now.
That 2014-2015 lakers did not have the motivation to practice or win the whole year, one of the darkest times of being a lakers fan☹️

Bryant was never afraid to speak his mind, especially in the realm of criticizing teammates. This time around, it was all about making sure he gave his eventual former teammates a "proper" goodbye before they got shipped somewhere else.
