Jermaine Whitehead Got Destroyed With Wikipedia Edits After His NSFW Tirade on Fans
By Mark Powell
The Cleveland Browns are the personification of a dumpster fire, as they have been nearly every season since they were gifted back to the city in the late 1990's.
After another loss to the lowly Denver Broncos on the road this past Sunday, Jermaine Whitehead took to twitter to call out fans and media personalities alike. The NSFW language in all of his posts don't bare repeating on this website, but just to be sure Whitehead learned his lesson, the fine folks on the WorldWideWeb edited his Wikipedia into the sun.
Some of these are...less creative, but surely not what Wikipedia had in mind for the long-term success of Whitehead's page. "Cleveland Bloods, positions Thug" is a clear reference to Whitehead's comments, specifically stating that he would travel just about anywhere to fight his doubters. Hell, he even provided an address.
As is often the case, the first round of edits were hardly the last. Whenever a prominent athlete makes a mistake, sports fans make sure their Wiki remains tampered with for hours following the error. It's just the way they deal with loss.
In Whitehead's case, he somewhat brought this upon himself. Best to stay off social media next time.
