Jerry Dipoto's Trade History Since Joining the Mariners is Beyond Maniacal
By Parker White

A little less than four years ago, the Seattle Mariners decided to shake things up in their front office and hire Jerry Dipoto as their new general manager. When he arrived, it was clear the MLB roster and entire farm system needed to be reformed.
But did anyone expect this much action?
On Saturday, Dipoto and the Mariners made another trade, acquiring minor league outfielder Ian Miller from the Minnesota Twins for cash considerations. It seems small, but it's a pretty historic milestone, as this is the 100th trade Dipoto has made since becoming the Mariners GM.
here it is, folks!

Yup, Dipoto has made 100 trades during his quest to "re-imagine" this Seattle roster. They've ranged from small trades like this one, to blockbusters that include the former face of their franchise, Robinson Cano. Nobody is off the table.
since becoming Mariners GM on September 28, 2015, Jerry Dipoto has made ? trades. trades of all shapes and sizes. good trades and bad trades. creative trades and confounding trades. so many trades.

Hell, third baseman Kyle Seager might be one of the only players that hasn't been traded during Dipoto's entire tenure.
You can respect Dipoto for his willingness to make a move and attempt to improve the roster, but maybe he should have a more patient approach to this GM thing moving forward. The Mariners are still a below average team and who knows what their future will hold.
